6 years and I still miss you Maa !

13 is considered unlucky number was told by a friend of mine when I was in my 9th grade and yet it was one of those interschool competitions where we finished the Second place competing with 50+ teams. I told her it is not as unlucky as you think, we finished second. 13 years down the time, I did find 13th September 2017 to be unlucky for me, the day I lost my mom. There was a story on this day today where someone mentioned about the loss of a loved one, a friend, in 9/11 incident too and also had lost his father long time ago. Julley Leh Ladakh

" Don't travel to this place now , my dear ! ", the concerned caring dad said this ! Back in 2016 I know dad was fully comfortable to let me travel alone if he knew the place had someone he knew. " Ladakh " , "Leh" , proper Nouns like these had an improper effect on mention of solo trips in Indian context. To some extent I do agree after I travelled there but not in the Indian context in general ! 2023, after schedules. Reschedules and cancellation something was in place finally 5 days before the travel date! Moments before the landing I was packed between the old couple of Leh Ladakh. Dear Maa in the Heaven, 3 years since you left exactly a day before your birthday and you still reside in us giving the strength to face the reality. Every day still seems incomplete....
